i was wondering if 31's will fit on the stock rim and in the wheel well without a lift. on a 93 explorer sport ,will they rub

sometimes they will and sometimes they wont. it is a matter of manufacturing tolerances. take it to a reputable tire shop and ask them to test fit it.

31" might rub in front at full lock but not much. Most of the trucks (most) will take this size tire with no problem. Stock rims are still OK although prefered way is to go to 15X8 rims.
