What spark plugs are you running?

What spark plugs are you running on your 4.0 OHV explorers?
Do/did you get any pinging/preignition in hot weather with a specific model of plug?

Autolite AP605’s here w/ new coil pack and wires. So far not great... but not sure if the plugs are the problem.

Motorcraft only in these. Skip the gimmick plugs.

Duralast (#4144) wires. about $30

I second the only Motorcraft opinion on the 4.0 OHV. Platinum or double platinum, there’s your choice.
