I am kinda at the end here on what to do. The tranny I guess has been leaking which I have not notice, since every parking spot already has oil stains everywhere; and my last oil change about 3 months ago it was not leaking anywhere. I think trying to get out of the snow it may of blew a gasket I am not sure but I have no oil in the tranny and it wont go into reverse. The guy at the shop said I need another tranny which I guess is around 1,500 to 2,000. Thats more than I paid for the p.o.s. What ticks me off is the guy I bought it off of said it was a rebuit tranny which at this time it would have around 15,000 miles on it. And its messing up already, I think he lie to me.
So I am wondering if there is anyway to do a cheap fix to it so I can sell it. I have already put over 800 bucks into just fixing it up. And I am tired of putting more and more money into this stupid suv. Its like every 3 months something goes wrong with it and most of the time its major not minor less than 100 dollar fix but alot more than that. And I have own it since Feb. of 2010 yeah less than a year. I have been threw MANY cars, trucks but not a suv and only one other ford which that POS 5 months later needed the whole front end which was to be $1,000+. I have never had this many problems with a vehicle. Even a $600 91 buick lasted longer than this. As much as I love my explorer and all the fun I had with it, it has to go. I guess that was more of a rant than a question but I feel better now. Thanks for any help:yelexp:
