Hi everyone,

just looking for some clarification as I am looking to replace both the torsion bars up front. A quick look on fordparts.com shows several different "spring codes" listed (B, D, F, L, H, 1, 2) just to name a few, and all listed have drastically different prices ($50 - $175 each). All seem to use the same part # however, 5B326. Any help with this would be appreciated! I'm looking for a stiffer than stock spring since I run heavier aftermarket wheels. Thanks again,

-Greg

Definitely helpful in finding part # for replacing the stock bars. However, I'm looking for a slightly stiffer bar and seem to remember talk of some using the bars from the FX4 Ranger model of the same year. Anyone who swapped their bars out have any idea?

Code 1 bars are the stiffest, those were the ones on fx4 rangers

Perfect, thanks!

So would lower rated bars give you a softer ride?
