My 96 XLT has been running a little sluggish lately. Its a got a little spudder when excellerating-almost like its miss firing a little. It also has been getting this little chug when starting from a stop and continues when driving at steady speeds. I hear a little "pop" (sounds like if you were to tap and card board box lightly) quite a bit. Its not just happening periodically but rather all the time. The noise isnt loud but you can hear it and fell the spudder and its quite noticeable when driving.
Could this be a coil issue? I stopped by a place called Tunex (diagnositcs place) yesterday but they didnt have time to look at it but they mentioned something coil 3-dont know if those were the exact words.
Maybe a fouled plug?
