Baked a "three packet roast" in the oven. Side was white rice. Gravy was thin due to me being lazy.

Starters right now...

"Hamburger Dip" that was made by my Mom for family get-togethers on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Made of fried hamburger crumbles, chopped onion, Velveeta, canned green chilies, tomato sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

What's masa? Lol

Think I perfected my chicken salad to my liking. Best I ever made, and this batch is a keeper.

All I changed was using chopped honey crisp apples, and course sea salt. That made all the difference.

(2) Canned chicken in water.
5 celery hearts - diced.
1 small onion- diced.
1/2 cup cashew pieces.
1 honey crisp apple - diced.
6 table spoons mayo.
1/2 teaspoon sea salt.

Drain water from chicken.

Mix well and shred chicken as you go.
Refrigerate for a couple hours.

Served on toasted sourdough.

Oh man!! Mmmm good!!

Made salsa pork chops and rice. I thought the glass baking dish might boil over, so I put it on a sheet pan. Mistake. Outer rice over cooked, rice in the center barely cooked

I do the same exact thing but with chix thighs
I feel like the thighs are cheaper and dry out less. But bone in breast stays moister than boneless/ skinless
For boneless skinless breasts I either grill them or sous vide them.
Tonight we will have bison steaks and vegetables

Local big box store had the bone-in chicken breast, thighs, drumsticks, or leg quarters for 97¢/lb. I almost bought some leg quarters, but they finally had the chicken breasts on the last days of the ad.

Would have been canned or frozen whole kernel corn if I would have thought about it...

I love white chicken chili!
Well all chili really, as long as it’s not too spicy, my stomach can’t take that stuff anymore

White Chicken Chili

Here is the recipe I used, but with one less can of beans, and double the green chiles since I only had 7oz cans. Pry more chicken also. Bit warm, but not burning your mouth spicy. Only had one can of white beans on hand, so light red kidneys were used.

Green chiles are not too spicy and are delicious.
Mild to med is ok for me
I can go hot if I know beforehand and take a pill, and I do enjoy doing that.
When I was young I had a cast iron stomach but now it’s almost like aluminum foil lmfao

Homemade Italian steak sammich's, and a coke.

Seasoned pan grilled steak strips, Tri-color bell pepper strips, onions, a few Japs, 5 blend Italian cheese, and topped off with some sub dressing. Served on Sourdough garlic bread. Ran thru the broiler to get the cheese all melty melty.

Oh Man!
