Had no garlic cloves, so put extra garlic powder and olive oil in mix. Was only 120° after two hours. Baked at 350° until temp hit 135°, removed from oven, and let it sit for a bit before slicing. Some tough/chewy areas, but I used a cheaper roast. Will pry try it again.

I tried to get garlic cloves at our local supermarket. No luck. I just wanted them for food prep... I think a lot of people may be wearing them around their neck to fight off evil spirits about now ;)

Happy Easter EF!!

No ham, no deviled eggs, no potato salad, no sweets this year.

Stayed clear of the stores, and found a can of chili, and a box of good old smackaroni & cheese. Mixed them together, and downed them with milk, 4 days past the expiration.

Good times!

It wasn't a complete disaster. I did talk to 1 friend on the phone this morning, and got a text from 1 family member.

I'm doing what the government told me, and staying on the couch, binge watching TV shows. Lol

Tried something different tonight. Sauteed napolitos aka tender young prickly pear pads.

Served with pollo and frijoles negro.

Closest thing I've had to Mexican food in 40+ days lol.

Well, since winter has returned and it's been snowing again, I have a crock pot filled to the top, with my meat and bean 3 alarm Chili.

Perfect meal, for cold weather.

Last night's midnight snack. Thick cut bacon, sprinkled with brown sugar and cayenne. Baked until done.
