After some adult beverages at a local bar, ate a some pizza made in the truckstop next door. Meat lovers with jalapeños. Been a while since I’ve ate their pizza, but I’ll say it’s way better than the two well known pizza chains here...

I could pretty much guess what most of you had for dinner today.

This year for Thanksgiving, I decided to make Turkey like I never have in the past.

A 4 lb breast in the crock pot for 8 hours.

Super simple. 2 cans of condensed creamy chicken soup, 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of thyme, 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning, a dash of sea salt, a dash of pepper, and a dash of garlic powder. Stirred every couple of hours is all the maintenance it takes.

Served with mashed taters, and the gravy from the crockpot. It was the juiciest Turkey I ever had.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!

fried a turkey yesterday YUM
going to do another one tomorrow! will use the fryer and peanut oil for the next few months...the more birds you do the better the oil gets. Nothing like cooking a 22# bird in 84 minutes!! fried = better

Love me some deep fried Turkey!

Peanut oil is so expensive, you really have to use it a lot to get your $$ out of it. Lol

I did a big center cut pork tenderloin once, and it came out amazing.

Since I am a bachelor, pre-Thanksgiving was pieces of a bone-in ham I carved up, with pineapple rings on top, and my mom’s potatoes, which I have shown before. Thanksgiving day, ham and potatoes were almost gone, so I made spicy teriyaki pork roast with white rice...

Pan fried one pound burger topped with American cheese slice, sweet relish, and Heinz 57 sauce. Shoestring fries on the side (dollar store find, and they get crunchy👍 )

Never attempted tater tot casserole before, so I gave it a shot. Used tater crowns instead of tots, because tots always seemed to stay soggy when in this dish. Used one large can of cream of mushroom, instead of two small cans. Too much, and I could see it was when baking. Overall, good though...

Marinated strips of top sirloin in teriyaki sauce, quick fried in a bit of oil, drained, and added microwaved broccoli florets and spicy ginger teriyaki sauce.
