Just wondering how everyone sets up their cargo area for things they do everyday. Do you have the 3rd row up, folded, or flat? Cargo protectors? How do you secure things you take around all day everyday? Roadside emergency things?

Pics would be great to show.

I keep seats folded and a cargo mat in place. Anything large enough is normally not secured. A few things can be kept in the spare tire well but I haven't done so yet. Photos of the old (top) and the new.

I have these

Covered with this

I usually have my seats stowed and a cargo liner over top. Also have the bumper protector and a cargo net to keep things inside.

Could hear/feel you coming from a few miles away...

actually i was surprised how the explorer holds the sound inside the car.
of course you can hear it clearly from the outside, but it was way lower than i expected.

i guess the internal parts will start falling apart pretty soon

I added that rubber piece to keep the top of the bumper from getting scratched up

Mine is kind of a mess. I have the 3rd row folded down. I have the cargo net up, with some golf ball boxes, a bike air pump and an umbrella in the net. Then I have some random bike stuff, bike shoes, golf shoes, golf bag and back pack in the back along with some jumper cables.

Is there a better place to stow things, like jumper cables?

Have you tried putting the cables in with the spare in the tire well?
