Whats stronger, Dana 44 or dana 60?

You do not need to machine D60 kingpin knuckles to accept hi steer arms. They bolt under the kingpin cap. A 44 knuckle, yes it would need to be machined if it did not already have the holes drilled and tapped.

I run 5.13s on 38s and it is a pretty good combo however I have a manual tranny and it is not under an Explorer.
 






If its a Ford kingpin you wont have to do anything.
