So I'm sitting here while reading an issue of Four Wheeler, there's a good article about four wheeling in music, mostly about the best songs and how its only prevalent in country music. So whats your favorite wheeling song, whether it is your favorite about wheeling or to listen to while wheeling? Mine is country boy by Alan Jackson.

I love me some Pantera while wheeling. Almost any classic rock too.

I like to listen to "Ride through the country" by Colt Ford, or Real Country music not pop stuff.

yea im not really a huge fan of all the new pop country either, im more into Johnny Cash, the Charlie Daniels band, and C.W. Mcall. Alan Jackson is one of the few newer artists i like although.

"Oops I did it again" By Britney Spears (when I get stuck in mudholes), or anything by Lady Gaga.

When ever me or my buddy Alan get stuck we usually turn on a silly song that is some what relevant to how we are stuck. One time I was stuck in some mud, and some had flinged into the truck and hit my face, so I played "Ice Cream Paint Job" by Dorrough where one of the lines are "Cream on the inside, clean out the outside" cream referring to mud. :p

Or one time we were up north and Alan was leading through a trail, and we pulled up to a fallen tree and he played some song about "not being able to escape"

We're quick thinkers. =P

One song I will NEVER listen to when offroading is Alan Parsons "When I break down". That song came on once and the line "when I break down" rolled by just as I smashed a front wheel flat, not just the tire, but the steel wheel:eek:

Kashmir is a good wheelin' song when the goin' is slow, and Rush YYZ is a great tune to crank when runnin' fast in "baja mode":D

Nightwish is the shiz. I love Tarja's voice! When I solo beach driving (not the smartest idea given my track record) I like some Warren Zevon. Few things make me smile more than sitting on my truck in the middle of a deserted beach playing harmonica along with 'Spendid Isolation.'

Pends on where and when. Music and travel go together most of the time. But every once in a while ya just need you and the trail.

Now if you are in the San Juans it has to be C.W. My favorite album was The Real McCall. Very hard to pick a fav as there were so many great songs on that one and they were redone with awsome quallity. If I had to pick one it would be

Wilderness (hate the title love the the song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgeojTREaF8&a=GxdCwVVULXf6RgoEEMCGjsmOpAotQhIP

And Ghost Town: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkXwnXSEmbw&NR=1

The Silverton:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFb15ua-VHY&feature=related

And Garretts fav Comin' Back For More

My fav any other place in the Colorado mountians is

Fire On The Mountian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AChK4jBkxs0

My friend I like to wheel with's fav

When Cowboys Didn't Dance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AChK4jBkxs0

Now if I'm on the road to or from Colorado or Utah I like
Eagles/Hell Freezes Over
Hanson/Middle of Nowhere
Bob Seger&The Silver Bullet Band/Greatest Hits
Spice Girls/Spice
Aaron Tippin/Stars & Stripes
Marty Robbins/No. 1 Cowboy
Wilson Phillips/Wilson Phillips

And some CD's I mixed up with Kid Rock, Lorne Greene, Johnny Cash, and others.

Just pends on where I'm at, who I'm with, and what I feel like mostly. Sometimes nothing playin cept whats in my head.
