2014 Explorer XLT
Hey All.....newbie here.

Looking to make my daughter's 2014 XLT look a little more sporty for Christmas. I'm leaning towards 20x10 Ravetti RAV-M13 +40 wrapped in Toyo 295/45R20 tires. I really like that look (love the fat tires). I'm concerned about rubbing. I've seen some examples on forums that say no trimming is required. Is there anyone out there that can confirm they'll work without mods/trimming? I'll probably put aftermarket springs on it at some point and drop her a little bit in the future. Looking to pull the trigger and get them coming but scared to hit that buy button at checkout without knowing I'm not creating more work.

Thanks in advance!
Mike

Hi Mike and Welcome to the Forum.
What is the OEM tire size?

245/60R18
Thank you. Just wanted that to plug into this tire size site. The width will be 2" wider with the proposed size. The generally accepted max diameter variance is 3% which is what you will have.
As your speed increases above 60 mph, the speedo will be off a bit.

Yeah...I ran it through that cool calculator I've seen you reference. Hopefully someone out there has experience with that set up and can let me know if they had any rubbing.
