Wheel confusion...

Argh.

Maybe it's just been a long day, or maybe I don't have patience enough with the searching...

My '99 XLT is being regeared from 3.73 to 4.56, and as soon as that's done, the 4" Superlift will be going on.

I want to have wheels/tires mounted/balanced and ready to bolt on, but I'm getting really confused about the whole backspacing and offset stuff.

I've got the stock wheels on the truck right now, with 31x10.5x15's on it.

I'm going to be going to 33x12.5x15 BFG All-Terrains.

I know I'm going to need a 15x8 wheel, and I'm looking at the Cragar "Soft 8" rims.

What bolt pattern, backspacing and offset will I need/want for the above application?

I believe you will need 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern, 3.75" backspacing or -6 mm offset. Check with Superlift for recommendations. Also do a search on the Gen II forum.

Alrighty - didn't get too much help from Superlift.

I want to use the Cragar Soft 8's, and in 15x8 - 5 on 4.5, they only come with a 4" backspace, -13mm offset.

I've seen a few Gen2's on this board with those wheels, so I think we're good, but I just wanted to make double-sure before I ordered them today.

Can anyone confirm that I'm good to go?
