my 1993 ford explorer currently sits on the stock rims at 15X7

I have an opportunity to buy some other rims that are from a 92 explorer and are at 15X6.5.

Both are 5 lug pattern.

My question is, will this be an issue for me? Will the wheels even fit my car?

Welcome to the forums.

The 15 x 6.5 wheels (if they're steel) are the ones used on the spare tire of the Explorers that had 15x7's, so 15 x 6.5 do fit, especially if they're stock rims from another Explorer or Ranger. If they're aftermarket, be sure they have the right offset and aren't something like a high positive offset for front wheel drive vehicles.

thanks!

yea, they're the stock rims from a 92 explorer. the only reason I'm changing them out is because i don't really like the look of the 93 explorer limited edition rims. the 12 hole rims of the 1992 models are a bit more appealing.
