I just got a 5.6 LCD screen, and I want to put the playstation 2 in there so I can watch DVDs and play games, and I also what to go old school, and put a nintendo in there too, just to be a smart ass..where should I mount the PS2 at, and how do you hook it up so it has power all the time??

I don't suppose it would mount vertically in the center console would it? FYI -- I saw in the JC Whitney catalog a replacement center console top that had a monitor built in that flipped out -- it looked pretty cool for something like this.

Right now I have mine tucked facing rear under the Passenger side seat. I plan on looking into other options this summer. But in a sport you are a little limited. I don't want to loose any cargo space. Let me know if you find a stealthy spot.

you could disconnect and reove the airbag, then mount the PS2 in it's place. i've seen that done. it looks really cool with some custom work and a glass dash.

I really dont care about loosing space, but do you think it would fit in the glove box with a little creative cutting?? Im putting the monitor in the front, so I can watch it, and then putting another in the rear for my passangers..how do you hook it up though. do you have to run, a power inverter? Can you hard wire that to a 12 volt sorce?? Can I put a switch so I can flip from PS2 to the nintendo???

You need a power inverter. If your head unit does not have mutliple inputs you have to get an A/V switch. With my Kenwood I have 4 seperate inputs and 4 seperate outputs. So I can have 4 different things going at once. It is bad arse to have like Navigation or DVD going on the front, PS2 in back passenger side, and TV in back driver side. And still one more source to use. I like to hook up the DV camera and video stuff and have it playing on the tv's!

i got a pinoeer 7400 with 1 in and 1 out i think

Its got one in and one out I believe??

u need a power inverter anyways so you can plug it in the ps2 battery pack (the thing that goes into a regular electrically socket). you can get those on ebay for $25. Dead Link Removed . thats the kind i have. great seller. there are more expensive ones on there too if you want more variety. if you have the red white and yellow coming out of your headunit you can plug the ps2 in there. or if you have one of those portable dvd players like the one i have there should be the yellow white and red up front and you can plug it in thourgh that. that is what did. as far as where to put it not very many options like they have said so far under seats and in dash is about it. go to the website in my sig to see what i did.
