Can someone describe where the actual bead is on a 17' OEM aluminum rim.
The new rims I just picked up has old rubber residue all along the lip and I am not sure if this will interfere with the seal.
backround of my situation as described in a previous thread:
Just had my tires replaced on my 03 Explorer and the next day air had leaked out of all the tires. The dealer attempted to fix it with bead sealer however that also did not work. My solution was to pick up some used OEM rims on craigslist.
