I have a 94X disguised as a 90 B2. I just had the 94 A4LD rebuilt for off road. Problem being there is a two prong plug (red w/ yellow or orange stripe, Black and gray or white. Any ideas where this plug might go?

Thanks for your help,

J

The older a4ld only has 2 pins for the t/c lockup. It doesn't (ecu) tell the trans to shift from 3 to 4.

On the newer a4lds it has a 3 pin connector which controls both the 3/4 shift and the t/c lockup.

I "guess" you could wire it up so the ECU tell the 3/4 to shift at the same time it tells the tcc to shift. You would basically converter you 2 pin connector into a 3 pin connector by using junk yard parts..

I found where it goes, on the top of the speedo cable as it goes into the transfer case there is a two prong outlet... Bingo! It was hard to see being at the top of the speedo cable. Thanks for your input.

Doeth! I was too focuses on the mismatch transmission/bII that I didn't even think to mention the speed sensor connector.
