The airbag light came on in the 2004 Corolla. I found the procedure for finding the fault code using the light flash method, and came up with airbag code #18, but I cannot find a chart showing what the codes are:banghead:

I have been able to find the OBDII codes, but not the light flash codes:dunno:

Have you tried searching? :mattmoon: :D

Sure have, looked at a ton of sites, all with the OBD codes, none with the flash codes:(

Thanks Steve, but mine is code #18 and they skip that in the list you found:banghead:

Code 18 = FUBAR ;)

Most common cause of air bag lights I've seen is the connector for the wireing harness to the seats. Typically unpluging and repluging them back together fixes the issue.

Never seen a code 18.. Wish you were closer Rick.. I have a expansion module for my Auto Enginuity that can read air bag codes..

Thanks Steve:chug:

I need to pull my airbag off and test it.

I have the issue in JP right now. I just unplugged the bag for now.
