I recently attempted painting the faded pillars on my 2003 ex. I sanded part of the numbers off of the buttons for the keyless entry keypad and I would like to replace it. I have searched the internet everywhere but I can not find anywhere that sells this item. No local junk yards carry any 3rd Gen. explorers.
I know how to remove the keypad from the pillar, I just need a new part.

If you can find a link for a new "already painted black" pillar driver side pillar, I would appreciate that too since my paint job went horrible.

Thanks guys.

I'm going to the junkyard tomorrow and there are a few 3rd gen explorers there. I'll keep an eye out for a keypad on one of the doors for you.

Thanks, it should keep the same entry code if I swap it right?

If you see some decent drivers side pillars, (where the key pad goes) and the rear door pillar next to it, let me know! Thanks!!!!
