Where's my CD Player?

I purchased a 2010 EBaurer 4x4 last year in Beautiful condition and have had no problems till now.

When I use the Media Button or the CD Button on device it appears that the system is not recognizing the 6 disc CD Player. It doesn't matter if I'm trying to play, remove or just to see how many slots are occupied. I can't get system to recognize that it's even there.

HELP (I'd like to take my Xmas CD's out)!!!!!!!!

It is not unusual for the display to go dead on the older units because of lousy soldering jobs on the boards but not recognizing the CD is new to me. You could pull it out and check the connections on the back of the unit to make sure they are fully seated, but I suspect the issue is internal and requires taking it apart to see what solder joints are cracked or internal cables are pulled out.
You may want to post over in the navigation/audio section to see if anyone over there can point you in a more specific direction.
Now that I have thought about it, I have had my unit act funky before and that was because one of the buttons on the face of the unit was stuck down.
