2001 Ford Explorer Sport
First i would like to say i just joined this forum and its awesome!

I just recently purchased a 2001 ford explorer sport 2wd with a camburg lift on it. My rear shocks (bilsteinf4-b46-1569-h1) have went bad and i was curious what i should replace them with? Should i go with a more heavy duty shock or longer? Im new to lifted vehicles so im not sure what i should replace it with....Thanks for your time

how much lift do you have

I believe it is 5 inchs...its enough to clear 33's

Can I lift my 96 ex with just shock absorbers?

If so what type? I want around 2" lift

I have already don't 2" TT/ aal&shackles.

Thanks all,

Jake

Not to my knowledge. Shocks don't lift

Do you mean flattened rear leafs from say my extended shackles that I put on that are making my leafs nearly flat?

If I put those shocks on you are saying that it would make them bend up a little more?

Or am I lost?

Haha

Thanks again,

Jake

Sorry, read that as you DON'T have a TT, AAL, and shackles. Spring shocks in addition to the AAL and shackles sounds like way too much.

I'm lowered, wait for some of the lift experts to chime in. GL
