I am going to purchase 3" lift spindles for my '96 2WD, but before I ordered them from Ebay I wanted to make sure I got the correct ones. Spindle 1 or Spindle 2 should I spend the extra $200 for the adjustable C/Arms? Has anyone gotten these spindles from Ebay?

ask the guy which company the spindles are made by because you dont need new upper arms for procomp or fabtech spindles

Hey big dave I've got an explorer sport 99 and I want to put a spindle lift on the front but i am not shure for which to go for Fabtech pro comp, what i like about Fbatech bigger track wdht but I am not sure if you have to do some grinding. And for the rear I was wondering if you can give some ideas: if new springs what brand and model do you recomend dude. I m gonna tack out the doors and make some custom tube one's take out the carpet and put some diamond plate, thinking some ideas of making kind of convertible like the bronco jajajajaja and some bad ass prerruner desert guard jajajajajaja I got a lot of ideas in my head man for my truck and I'd really apreciate any advice :exporange :exporange ;)

hey, the fabtech and procomp both are .75" wider per side. the fabtechs are 3.5" and the procomps are 3", so pick the lift size. no grinding will be necessary for the fabtech. new springs i would def. recommend deaver if you have the money to spend on it

From personal experience, i would like to ask you reconiser your purchase for your safety. I had the ebay ones and snapped one, so i bought the pro comps the second time, the procomps are different than trhe ebay ones, no matter what people say, ive owned both and compared them....

Good luck

What shocks do you guys recomend, Im not sure if i should get the ones that come with the kit or order some special shocks like the fabtech resevoir or the king or fox or go with some normal one's. I'm gonna go with Fabtech spindles and buy a Universal fabtech desert guard --AWESOME---- but be kind of difficult to get the parts to mexico jajajajajajajja but i'll figure it out.. Thanks guys for the advice , Take it easy men

well if u plan on going to desert with woops and stuff u need the resivoir to cool the shock down (king, fox) and you will need those shocks valved for that kind of stuff, ask TaknitezX2 and Bigdave, they know a lot about this stuff

depends on your budget and what you really plan on doing with the truck, those fabtechs will work fine for mostly on road and very mild offroad too...

Just with a little grinding you were set??? do you think it still stays strong?? .......awesome you got the fabtechs how do they feel, where did you buy them??Did you need new control arms men?? thanks dude

yah just a little grinding and it was cool just bolted right up and it only took a few hours to put on and 90% of that time was on the first side. I am not sure what you mean about them staying strong but i havent had any problems with them so i guess they are strong.as to where i got them, I got them off a a guy from here for a good deal and no you dont need new arms you will be set with the stock ones unless you want to upgrade but there is no need to.

pm me if you have any other questions, i am thinking of selling my spindles as i will be selling the explorer in the next month or so 3

good luck dude

that braking problem is common for vehicles with spindles at full turn, had the same prob with my pro comp spindles but instead of grinding off the steering stop i got longer brake lines
