Hey guys i wanna change around my system setup a little bit b/c i am starting to get very unhappy with it. I have a Kenwood 600 max amp (2 channel bridgeable) and 2 12 inch JBL Gts. I was happy with them for awhile but i do not think that my amp has enough power to fully power both subs, but they are old and i would just like to get rid of them anyway. So since my amp is fairly new id rather keep that and maybe get a single 10 inch sub. I have a few in mind that i will list for u and if any gurus know which sub will be the best with my amp id appreciate it if u could let me know. thanx

out of those i would go with the infinity perfect... my sis has a 12" a 600 watt amp and for jus one sub is sure does sound good. but whatever u do DO NOT buy mtx i wasted money on them from the base model up to (then) top of the line high $$$ and went through 6 or 7 bought 3 myself the rest were warrantys but they literally fell apart. and what didn't make that long jus blew up on me. and it wasn't from too much power, in fact i've never heard of anyone being satisfied with them, i'm sure there has to be someone but.... unless u don't mind buying new ones atleast every year. jus my personal experience...

ok ive heard the perfects are real good subs also...maybe ill look into a single 12 inch sub instead of a 10. Thanx alot

ya i forgot to include that in my post but i would definitely not step down from 12's to a 10", i stepped down from two 10's and 12 to 2 solo baric 8" subs that i paid over $200 each for and figure hell one costs more than all my other subs put together. they've got to be good. but that was a costly lesson learned. and to top it off one blew and the other one fell apart at the seams. they lasted a while but sound wise damn they didn't compare to my larger cheap subs. i've wasted mucho $$$ on high dollar supposedly qaulity stereo equipment only to be let down. if u could find soundstream subs i would also reccomend them... thats what i have myself. best subs i've ever had in my life. but infinity's come with what i believe is a standard 3 yr warranty

jl audio. get a 10w3v2 or 10w6v2 D4. trust me, you wont be disappointed.

since you have a 2 ch amp, bridgeable, I'm guessing to 4 ohms mono, I'd look for a sub w/ single 4 ohm voice coil, dual 2 ohm v.c's, or dual 8 ohm v.c's....

I Also think going from 2 12"s to a single 10" will be a big drop, single 12" or maybe a couple of 8"s ?

What about a resonant engineering-RE series? What kind of price range ya lookin at?

I can only recommend the Perfect 12.1
I have one in a sealed custom box powered by a brigded JBL 180.2 amp pushing 360watts & a Lightning Audio Strike Series .5farad cap.
This system far exceeded my expectations.
It's sounds awesome & pounds!!!
