Which tire should I go with?

Alright, I am going to get a lift for my 91 2wd this summer and a trying to figure out which tires I want. I like the BFG MT, Goodyear Wrangler MT, Super swamper TSL Radials, and the Super Swamper Thornbirds. I don't really go off road, cause there is no place around here that I can go, so I am just going to do this for looks mainly, but I want to look of an aggressive mud tire. I will probably ge a 6" lift, so I was thinking probably some 33" tires. I am kind of leaning towards the super swamper TSL Radials because they look exactly like the regular TSL's but they are radials which means they're quieter and a lot less wearing. But I love the way the Thrnbirds look, but I'm sure they suck on the road, but what kind of wear do they get on the road? My next chioce would probably be the Wrangler MT's, because hey look awesome also, but they are pretty exspensive whereas the tsl's and thorbirds aren't that exspensive. I like the BFG's but I just liek all the others better, but I know they would probably be the best since I don't go offroad at all. I just want people to almost get in a wreck lookin at my explorer going down the road, since everything here in tn that's lifted is a chevy and they're always 10 feet off the ground, and I'm just sick of them, they don't even look cool anymore like a few years ago when you would only see one of them every year and you thought it was awesome even if it was a chevy, but now it's like ehh. Anyways, kinda got off the subject, but I would just like to know your opinions on mainly the tsl's and thornbirds, but if you would like o tell me a little somethin abotu the wranglers or bfg, go right ahead, I would love to hear about them. Also, Do you think I could fit a 35 under there wit a 6" lift? Or would I also have to get a body too? What is the minimum width I can put on the stock 15x7? Thanks or reading this long post and responding (if you d respond)

Yo Rock,
For everything you do, there is a price you gotta pay. The swampers and boggers look tough, but they are NOISEY, and after awhile driving with them, you might think that wasn't a real good idea, but hey, you'll look good! You might even get migraines from them, but you'll look good! The best advice I can give you would be find someone who has these and ride with them for awhile. Your talking some big bucks for these things. You want to be happy with them. Mickey Thompson makes some tought looking tires, ask Matt Adams. He has them on his truck. I know it might be hard to find someone with the type of tire you want, but make the effort. It will save you alot of cash and pain in the long run. Oh, yes you should be able to put 35's with 6" of lift, and the max you should put on stock I think is 33"s, but even then you should probably go 15x8 rims, so the tire will spread more. Hope this helps. Dead Link Removed

Actually the prices for the TSL's are the cheapest of the bunch (33x12.50x15)at 134.95, with he BFG at 136.95, then the Thornbirds and the Wranglers at 142.95, I saw a different price somwhere, but forgot where it was at, but I think if I were willing t go with the price of the Thronbirds, I would rather get the Wranglers plus there is a Goodyear dealer rigt down the street from me and I don't know of any place except about an hour and a half from me that sells the thornbirds. And I think that Mickey Thompsons are to exspensive (200 for the claw and the Baja Belted) and I heard they aren't all that great.

rock,
DO NOT GET THE THORNBIRDS!!!! they are terrible on and off road...they are extremely loud and wear down really fast. if you are going for the looks i would go with the tsls. they have a great aggressive stance although they are kinda loud...but they are reasonable cheap. i went with the sx/tsl with is the same as tsl but with steel belts so they dont wear down as fast.
