White faced A/C gauges

I know that they don't make them for the early Explorer, but I'm going to make them for my Explorer. I got the idea off of the Ranger board.

My question has anyone ever taken off the plastic of the A/C and vent face?

I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do it, and I'm sure it won't work but I'll give it a try.

If what your going to try doesn't work try calling these guys Dead Link Removed. When I talked to them they said if I sent them the gauge faces they could custom make a replacement set. I be willing to bet they cold do the same the the HVAC face.

Just a thought.

yes i have

i peeled the face off and pulled out the green reflector and put the face back on with spray adhesive and put blue bulbs from the local autozone in the back to match my other blue neons under the dash

98 sports also have different guages and hvac controls than do a 93....

yes it is true they are different put the process should be the same i will post pics if you want when i get my car back hopefully tommorrow. i just had to replace the tranny put i will defintely post pics by tom. night
