Well My system in under construction right now....... But what I do have in right now is a Punch 100a2 for the Front Door Speakers and a Punch 250a2 for the Rear Door Speakers......... When I add the subs there will be 4 Rockford HE2 15's and two Power Punch 800a4's..... Hope to get my Box done soon!!!!!

Here are some not so good shots of mine...

and for the amp rack

HAHA..........I have everyone beat! I have (16) 12" Road Gear subs running off my head unit for now. Walmart was sold out of their big amps. My moms '96 Explorer just barley out bumps me with her 6x8s.....but with the new amps I should be able to lay her out.

Flyguy....hopefully one day I can afford some of that expensive Rampage stuff.........if you sell it hollar at me!

Okay, working on the pics... But here's what I got
Head Unit- Alpine (will update with model later)
Fronts-Fosgate 6 1/2's (i believe they're older fantatic
Q components models) in kick panels with
Kenwood tweeters in the pillars
Rears-Kicker 4in resolution components
Subs- Eclipse Aluminum 12in DVC's
Amps-
Subs- Alpine MRV-1507
Fronts and Rears-Kicker 460 ( i believe)
I used to know all my model numbers and crap, but Audio has dropped in my interests, as V-8 swaps, axles and big tires are what I'm mostly into, although, I still love a kick ass system.

Mine does me alright now, but I'm sure later on, in what ever vehicle comes after my 94 Limited (that's where the system is now) I'll get back into it all, and make something simple, yet crystal clear, with clear, pinpoint accurate bass! But hey, I'll have more money with a real job then :bounce:
Pics later
Pete

similar setup, this was from the sport, now in the limited
I've only got the big amp in there fer my subs, and the kicker is located where a stock sub is in the explorers (no pic yet)

I'll also add, they DO look like complete trash.. It was the first expriment, and learning process... Since I knew I was gonna build new ones, I never wasted my time completeing em (sanding, bondoing, painting/carpeting) But the new ones will be tons nicer, and of couse, some day, pics will come of those too :)
Pete

P.S. I don't need to hear they look bad, cause I already know that :) But they sound pretty good, like I said, the next will be better!

Sounds pretty good, but my only question is... Why have the punch250 in back, and the 100 in front? I'd probly have it opposite, a sweet set of components in kick panels, and then some mid level ones in the rear...
Just curious :)

Hehe... so... I see some of you guys here have rockford subs. What do you think? Should I trade my MTX's for Rockford?

nick

Fly guy.... JL Audio. Just my preffernce, but I've worked at a radio shop for 5 yrs... seen and heard it ALL. Rockfords ar enice though.. but I'm a JL man.....

I love my 15in Earthquake Magma in the ported box. It is loud, clear, and powerful. I have yet to make it bottom out!

Hehe... yeah JL seems to be popular.. but I can get Rockford dirt cheap. (I work at Best Buy). So... which is better MTX or Rockford?

nick

Rockford

Excellent. Hehe. I like my MTX 6000 10" Setup. But I was thinking, with my new amp. I could go 12" petty easy. Then.. when I am bumping "I want to know what love is"... people will notice.
