Who is interested in getting a metal skid plate?

Please post if you are interested in getting a metal skid plate made for your 2002-2005 (possible fit 2006) Ford Explorers????

I decided to take the matters into my own hands and get a good quality Gas Tank Skid Plate made. If this works out I might get other protection areas made for this model year range.

Also post what you would be willing to pay for a Metal Gas Tank Skid Plate that would include hardware for an easy installation.

from your prior post re gas tank plate, the one sent to you was too short.
i'm going to assume you'll be taking that into account when you fab one up.
when done, please post pictures and mounting issues. thanks.

The thought of crawling back under the car again...LOL

Yes I would obviously fix that type of stuff, not hard to make it about a foot longer.

I will see about taking those pictures and getting them up...I'll try and do that ASAP...so you can see how the Plastic one fits and how I would improve on that to make a metal one.
