Who lives in Illinois?

O.K., just to get this strait...
This Sat Commo is going to be puting his CB in at Cameron's around 11A.M. Right? Then on Sun the 11th (before Hooters) I am going to 2001's and do my Shacle thing. I don't know what time, I will call 2001 tonight and make the plans. Anyone is invited that wants to come as far as I know.

Damn! I can't get this list right! Thanks for the heads up Andre.

Revised list for HooterFest:

Andre
Pete (RFR2212)
Austin (COMMOCOZY)
Eric (Cameron)
Rick (GRNMACHINE)
Jack (RytM1)
Matt (2001ExpSport)
Rich (RichSport94)
Mike (charger1)
Dennis Myers
Brian (SplashMan)
Scott (Riffman) (Explorer-less ?)
Bill (T-Bone) Ballmaier
Mark (Quick)

Splashman, yes, Commocozy is planing on coming to my house this Saturday. I don't know if Commocozy is in a hurry to get his CB installed but I'm willing to wait until the 11th at 2001's house to do the install. Assuming 2001 and Commocozy are up for it.

What do you say guys? Whatever you want to do is cool with me.

2001, when you read this, e-mail me your address and then post the time here.

I really don't care..... i could wait till then, but wouldn't we be in somewhat of a rush then? Spalsh if you want to ride down in my truck to Eric's if we instill it this weekend. I kinda would like to get it done this weekend so i can mess with it and get use to it, but it is up to eric.

Sounds good to me. Come on down this Saturday. Whoever else want's to stop by, feel free. I was just expressing options. I have nothing else going on Saturday. I may be ice racing with the Explorer this Sunday in Wisconsin though!!!!!!

This will be the first time ice racing for me. Apparently, they set up a course on a frozen lake and you compete to see who finishes the course in the shortest time. They have several different classes. I'm calling my brother in law (the one helping me with my turbocharger project) in a couple of hours to see if the race is still on. They need to check the thickness of the ice and the weather for Sunday. I'll get all the details then.

Ice racing is pretty cool (no pun intened). We went up in the late 70's and did it in my friends FJ40. They set up a course and timed you for your best time out of three runs and the fastest time in your class wins. The best way is to ease into your speed and no quick movments of the steering wheel and you should do real well. Good luck Eric.

Hey thanks. I'm hoping the weather will stay cold. Did I just say that????????

I'm looking forward to trying it out. Should I lower the pressure in my tires? I would think the more surface contact area the better?

We never lowered the tire pressure back then, but we did not have a air pump with us either (times were simpler back then). One year my friend had the three fastest times in his class, but they would not give him all 3 prizes only 1st.

studded tires or just simply glue some nails to them. lol

just kidding around. I might want to install a CB in my rig later on too. I have one but had nothing but problems with it. Some guys know what I mean.

Got my bumpee back, sandblasted. Welding reinforcements for the winch and some tabs for lights today. Too bad I wouldn't be able to put it all on before the Hooters Fest 2001.

Eric, how's the sticker business?

To be honest, it'll take two guys all of 30 minutes to install that CB so I don't think it would be a rush COZY. You are intsalling it on the roof so it'll be even quicker. You guys go ahead and do what you planned this Sat. Sounds like Austin is eager to get his CB installed and I don't blame him.

Splash, your shackles will take about 30 minutes to install and 10 minutes to do the TT.

If it takes 40 minutes to get to Hooters from here and we need to be there by 4 then I suggest we meet at my place around 12-1sh. That's 2-3 hrs to do whatever and if we want and we can leave early to Hooters if you guys want to do that too.

Meeting time at my place 12-1PM Sunday, February 11th.

Who is planning to come? I know Eric and Brian are. Austin, you coming down too? Whomever wants to go let me know and I'll give you directions.

Brian, I tried calling you tonight, but the line was busy.

so, uh...what time are we meeting at hooters?

tank oo bery much!

Sorry about the phone, my wife lives on the thing. 12-1 sounds good and I just want to let you know that my son will be with me, but I can tie him to the roof rack to keep him out of our hair if you want.

Eric do you want me to drop the headlight covers off with Commo so that he can bring them down on Sat? That way you can try them out for a week or so to see if you like them. I can't make it Sat... wife is leaving and I got the kids.

Riffman you still interested in the amp?

that is correct. Here's the updated list then:

Andre
Pete (RFR2212)
Austin (COMMOCOZY)
Eric (Cameron)
Rick (GRNMACHINE)
Jack (RytM1)
Matt (2001ExpSport)
Rich (RichSport94)
Mike (charger1)
Dennis Myers
Brian (SplashMan)
Scott (Riffman) (Explorer-less ?)
Bill (T-Bone) Ballmaier
Mark (Quick
Brian (2mrchio)

quite a showdown, don't you think? I bet Kampy and Big Dave will be there too. They're probably too shy to say it though......... c'mon guys!

When I talked to Todd last, he said he had a Company party the same weekend....I tried to budge him, but it didn't work
Pete

SplashMan, I'll just get them from you at HooterFest unless it's no big deal to pass them on to Commocozy. Now they're saying it will only be 30 this Saturday. My kingdom for a garage! I actually have a two car garage but it's full of crap! Anywho, as long as you don't mind working in the cold Commo, I don't mind.

Anyway, looks like Andre got a printer to pound out some great NoIEC stickers. Hopefully I will have them by HooterFest to pass out to all of you. So a big thank you to Andre for all the work!

Looking forward to the get together. Up to 15 people!

SplashMan, you can bring your kid with you. We need somebody to watch the trucks while we are in Hooters (LOL).
