need something to drive around while I'm in the States...

my wife will stay a little longer - she will drive it then and perhaps next year I'll bring it to Europe... with dollar so low importing cars to Europe is not a bad idea.

i should be there. have school in the AM and i dont know if my bowling league will be on that weekend yet(its every other saturday league), but i should definitely have a few hours between noon and 5 to meet everyone. i'll try and drag the explorer up, if i feel confident putting that many street miles on the mini spool, and i havent started tearing it apart yet(which at my rate, i wont start till next summer

Hope you're runnin old tires... Just running the bronco around the block or U-turning at intersections, the tires bark like crazy.... Lockers are a joy to drive on a street compared to a spool

with my truck's locked rear end it's pretty hard driving around Europe... tight turns, narrow city streets, parking spots made for Minis... the tires squeel, chirp, the rear end bangs (scares pedestrians). It's hard for a DD - I was even thinking about replacing that rear with a regular non-locked 8.8... but then - what would I do in the mud?

Do unevenly worn BFG A/T's with 30k miles count? i want M/T's, but i cant justify it with the pending swap and switching over to the 36" military M/T's (i know they suck, but i plan on grooving them, and they were only $150 for all 5, so they helped in the budget department too)

As long as you're not personally attached to them, they'll do

that's not a bad idea... c'mon Pedro - find something. How about take it apart and put it back together?
It's in such rough shape, it probably wouldn't go back together again

I thought it was the first strech off higgins (south side) http://www.fpdcc.com/downloads/bw_trailmap.pdf
Making it labeled on this map as Groves 17-25
If we are talking Noon, I can make sure to be there by 11:30, and you can all look for the guy with the "rusty spare" on the rear passenger side of the black explorer
That is until one of the "nice" one's show's up, then everyone will know

If we want to use a more central location for people I can PM you my place and maybe do some wrenchin if people need be. Then, I don't have to trailer the bronco or the grill!
