Who wants to go to Los Coyotes Oct 17-19?

These are a few of the pics from Saturday the 17th at Los Coyotes.

BKennedy, RangerX, DB_1, and me (Felix) got together for a little fun at the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation Campgrounds and Offroad area.

Oh well here are some pics.

This pic shows us lining up for what RangerX named Felix Hill, for my difficulties and finaly making it to the top.

These next few pics are on the way to Bagbees Rock (SP). We found out the bypass for a really nasty hill climb turned out to have a little suprize for us. Right where the trails meet back together there is a nice 2 1/2 to 3 foot hole. This lead to some interesting manuvering by RangerX to show us the correct line.

RangerX a little twisted up.

BKennedy first pic is on the way down the bypass. The second pic is when you first get to the top of the bypass. It looked like he was going to rocket right over us.

Well that is all I got, but I am sure RangerX and BKennedy will have plenty more to show and tell about.

Ditto. We really wanted to come, but John ended up being scheduled to go out of town Sun-Tues, and with us planning to leave for Moab Wed night, he had to take yesterday to put the final touches on his Rig.

Well, i guess it's time for my usual post-run damage report...lol.
We were working our way back from the first trail of the morning when I was going under a dead pine tree with very low hanging branches, one of which scraped along the side of my cab and caught the weatherstripping of the quarter window of my supercab and shattered it.
The window didn't bust out but it looks like i was the victim of a drive-by shooting.
I didnt have my camera this trip but I think RangerX got a pic of it...post it if you did take one Bill.

Made it home!

Yes, I made it home from the Reservation.

What a great trip, all fun and no pain. On the last day it was just Bill and I, we took some off-camber stuff that was real fun, but scary fun.

On the way up the last hill, I started hearing come clunking noises (not the normal creaks, clunks and clicking noises either) coming from the front. I looked and noticed that the left lower radius arm bolt was missing and the TTB was pulled away from it. Bill and I took a walk back down the hill.....and there it was, washer, cam and bolt, all together. We pushed the TTB up against a tree stump to get it aligned, and it went all back without a problem. I didn't even have to turn on the way home to make right hand curves, since the caster is very screwed up. Nothing that a little alignment won't cure. Other than a few scratches, no more damage sustained the whole weekend, which is a suprise, considering the stuff we went through.

Thanks for the help Bill!

Sorry I missed out guys...

Sounds like you had alot of fun. I got to get my skid plates before I can come have some more fun. I got the body lift all on though! Now I still gotta find some 33's.
I'll be back out soon:rolleyes: Can't wait to do some more wheelin with you guys!:D

Here's Dave's window. You can kind of see how it's all shattered.

Nice pics Bill;) Its always fun wheelin with you guys.

Brian, glad you found the hardware for your radius arm,
that could have been a real sucky ride home. :(

This run convinced me its time to revamp my suspension to early bronco stuff. Too many tippy situations for me on this run

Great pics. Did you guys do El Hill?

HA! No.:o
