Why does this keep happening? Brake pad problem

How does this keep happening. The 2nd time in 3 years this time with all new rotor, caliber, hardware etc. all about 1 year old. Is it time to give up on this one and get a newer X. This one has 230K miles.

Grease your slide pins. I've had this problem and it's hell on the transmission, not just the brakes.
 












x2 on the slide pins! And 230k isn't time to give up, it's just getting broke in good!! I've got roughly 530k on mine right now, and still loving every minute!:D
 






Replace the slide pins! They wear out

Grease them with good high temp brake parts lubricant
