wife's car--need help

[jake the snake]

its silly almost. she was driving home from work in the rain today, and one of her wiper arms stopped working. it "went spastic" then it stopped. i am trying to see if i can fix it and i cant even get the wiper arm off. can anyone help or point me towards help?

Have you looked at the linkage from the wiper moter to the wiper< cotter pin most likely came out

i am trying to do that, but i have to take the arms off, then this plastic trim piece that hides everything to be able to see.
