will 2017 18" explorer rims work on a 2010 explorer

Wondering if a2017 18" explorer rims work on a 2010 that had 17" rims?

short answer is no they will not work.

long answer while the bolt pattern and offset is the same the center bore on the 2017 rims are 63.4mm and your 2010 needs a 70.5mm bore. this means the 2017 rim will not mount correctly on your 2010.

edit: fixed the last sentence i missed typed saying it will mount when i wont and that does not match the short answer.
