will a mountaineer liftgate fit explorer?

I have found a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer liftgate paint code G4. I have a 2006 Explorer paint code G4 and it looks like they are the same. Does anyone know for sure if it will fit?

They have the same part number 6L2Z7840010AA. As far as wires and placements I'm not sure. But if it shares the same part number I'm also going to assume it's the exact same piece.
