I just got the LMC catalog for Explorers, and saw they have oem heated mirrors with the puddle lights. Does anyone know if Explorers are pre wired so if I got a set they would work without any extra modifications? I miss having the heated mirrors from my cherokee so it would be great if I could add them.

Don't know if they're prewired or not, but it would be nice to add. New mirrors aren't very expensive either.

Never thought the 2 dr Sport was ever available with that option. Figured they were only on the Eddie Bauer or Limited. But I found an '00 Sport for sale with heated power mirrors, so they were available.

no
there is no wireing to acodomate the heating element

neat idea though

that would be awesome to have heated mirrors on my 01 sport

That's what I'm thinking too. Doesn't seem too difficult to add the necessary wiring. Just have to find out how the factory equipment is done.
