do you guys think that 265/75R16's will fit easily without trimming with just a 3" body lift?

i want to fit them on the factory rims. they compute to something like 31.8x10.5. they are goodyear wrangler mud terrains and it was the closest equivalent to 31x10.5 for 16".

i also have the sport with the fender trim, so its a tight fit. i just want to make sure they will def fit before i buy them cuz i cant test fit. i guess if i get some rubbing i could always throw on a TT/shackles.

They'll rub, you'll probably need both lifts.

I have no rubbing at all with a 2.5" torsion twist with my 265's.

more likely to rub with just a bl than with just TTetc.

I have no rubbing at all and i put my torsion bars back down to stock and have no shackles or anything, i only rub when i hit a speed bump at like mach 4. I think you will be ok if your Explorer sits like mine, i know the actual height varies a little between all our explorers, but i dont rub at all

how do you figure that?

When I picked up my black truck, it came with 285 75R16s with a PA 3" body lift and the only rubbing it had was at the bottom of the bumper (I had a 99 bumper on my 97). So it had to be trimmed, but you couldn't see it from the outside. I don't have a picture of it, so I'll just use the one at the bottom to point it out. This pic is also after a TT and shakle upgrade too, but it will fit with just a 3" BL.

So basicly what I'm saying is that those tires should have no problem fitting with a 3" BL, why not go for 33's?
