wow

Hydraulic elevators use gravity to force the fluid back into the resevoir controlling the decent with just a simple valve

Remember Mercedes and Citron also had hydraulic suspension systems back in the day ;)

Look it up!

Hmmmmm Hydraulic bypasses

Well that was clear as mud.

LOL!! Well Brian, let me take the mud and clean it up, so that it's crystal clear for you now!:p: The first picture is of the full size Bronco disc brakes. We decided that the stock set-up was to small for the 40" tires. That is the reason for the new rim's. They will be Robby Gordon Signature series machine finish 17x8" 5 on 5.5. (the stock one's were 5 on 4.5). They arrive tommorrow.:D

The next picture's are kind of the cool stuff! Also this one is for Stic-o!!

Stic-0, we figured out a way to make the rear side window's flip up for easier access in the rear. We are using the same hindge's that are on the back flip up window with a few modification's. They will also have a strut system to hold up the window. But here is the cool part, they are not glass window's, but custom made Aircraft Plexyglass window's that are Aircraft/Military approve. (Same one's you find on commerical aircraft). They are 1/4" thick tinted dark with a ACP Hard coating on the them. Pretty Cool !!

We are using a Locking Push Button handle to open and close the side window. (the same one on my camper shell).

RUh roh, make sure everyone's wearing a tight belt, the rubber gloves are in full effect :)

The last picture is the start of the set-up of the rear spare tire mount. More on this when the project progresses. Will also post the picture's of the custom made rock slider's when they are finished. That's it for now.

Dang, this project is making Winter turn gray:eek:

The beast is looking great:D

Colin do you have some ropes and pulleys I could borrow? I am just wondering if we are talking about a hydraulic system now?

I got your ropes and pulleys right here! :D

So are new axles for the 9 coming to match the bolt pattern or are you getting adapters? that hinge is fricken' BEEF! Where is it from?

If anyone is wondering what the two blue stripe's are on the upper tailgate side's, those are for the L.E.D brake/tail lites.

Sorry to take the hydraulic thing off into left field

Not that this build isn't insane or anything :p:

Jeff - :navajo:

And you people call me CrAzY

wow just wow 40's? holy cow

wow just wow 40's? holy cow

Hey that rhymes:p:

This is turning out awesome Winter, we all want to see the hydraulic system work and if anyone can make it work it's you. I'm going back to my crappy little bumper build now:hammer:

I think that will get the job done there Winter;) How much is that plexy though?

Dave I like your bumper build if that means anything to ya! LOL
I am still collecting tools to do neat stuff like this.... sooon soon come on Santa!! bring that bender!

If we are ever getting shot at at least we can hop in the back of Pauls Expo and close the windows! LOL

I predict this build will be all over the net when its completed, and magazines, and in my head every time I grab my welder...so cool!

^ your right..and I'll say...see those 37's on my truck? They were spose to be on that truck, but deemed to small:p: but the were originaly part of the build:D

It is pricey but much sweeter. I like the idea of a weld on sleeve since many have had the rockstomper spindle break where they weld it. Please give us plenty of details on how it works and how it is attached paul! That bumper is super cool
