If something happens to the one I already have, then someday I will. I prefer the 1st gen appearance over the second gen, but I still like 2nd gens. I'm not the biggest fan of the newer style, so if I bought anything it'd be a '91-'01. I'd still like to have another car in addition to (us americans are so spoiled with options/ability ;)) the explorer.

Haha, something like that. I did a search for something and this came up so I figured why not. Plus it's not like one of those threads where it only mattered at that time (three years ago, lol).

Man..talk about downgrading....

:D

The silverado isn't a bad vehicle, but the trailblazer is...it's had all sorts of problems and usually gets poor ratings.

Instead of the Silverado, you might want to consider an F-150 SuperCrew. When we were looking to replace our '01 Explorer, we test drove an '05 Explorer and then an '05 SCrew...We came home with the SCrew. It blew the explorer out of the water in just about every way you can imagine.

I bought a new ride and it wasnt an explorer. Still plan on getting one in the future after ford gets rid off all that excess chrome and before it goes to a unibody.

not even if they are giving them away
i wont even consider another USA built car
fit and finish is poor
its built to weak. balljoints, steering rack,to soft suspension, cam tensioner
all replaced under70k miles,
i had other 4x4 go twice as far with half the problems
built ford tough what a load
