Ford Explorer 98 XLT. Got a problem with my front windwasher. Changed the Wasper Pump Motor and it only pump out washer fluid at the rear windshield. when I press the washer switch at the turn signal handle, no motor sound and washer fluid. Checked the Switch the washer switch - OK , Have I missed something. I can't find a realy for the washer system. Please help! Thanks!!! :)

could it be a blown fuse? i believe the rear system has it;s own pump ands is seperate, but not positive. Also...ford has had problems witht he multifunction stalks going bad...so maybe the stalk is bad and you need a new one. IN my 95 it shorted out to the point where my headlights would only work when I had the high beams switched on. Ford said they have seen this happen regularly....I guess the wires chafe in the stalk and cause stuff to short out.

Check to see if you have 12v at the pump motor.
I also am pretty sure you have a front pump and a rear pump.
