I hate to admit, but you can't argue it... the 90's-present Red Wings can go for one of the best teams of all time. Year after year, despite winning the Cup or not, they would have one hell of a team. Age never seemed to be an issue. Hats off to the Red Wings.

Now the question... with Bowman gone, who else leaves? Hasek got what he wanted, and is an older goaltender... will he go out on top? What about Yzerman.. Yes, he's good, but will he leave with Bowman? The team's future as well as all of the success Detroit has celebrated is now in jeopardy.

As for Yzerman, who happens to be my favorite player, what I understand is he's having surgery done and will be out for the majority of next season. So apparently he's staying.
