Now is the winter here has com for good and then I noticed that my front heter dose not blow as I think it should do and it dose not keep my front window free of fog and ice. but the rear heter blow like ther is no tomorrow. could it be that the heater core is full of leefs and ****? if so is it hard to clean? any ideas...

Thanks.

Does the front heater blow strongly to the floor or the dash vents?

Is it the electronic system or the manual with the knobs?

Are there things in Iceland that sh.... poop on your heater air intake? Ha ha ha!

It is electronic. No it dose not blow strongly to the flor or out the dash vents, but maby litle better then up to the window.. And one more quistion what dose control the vents that are on the rear on the center consul?? It is always the same blow there on all settings on the heater, foot, face, foot/face or the window/foot..

The Dual Automatic Temperature Control diagnosis is very complicated. I can send you a PDF file of it if you wish. Just PM me your email address. It is a 1633KB file.

I am not familiar with the HVAC system in the vehicle you have. This is from the Ford Service Manual:
Auxiliary Climate Control

The auxiliary climate control system is a one-piece unit that is located on the LH side of the vehicle between the side windows and the floorpan, behind the rear wheel well. The driver has primary control of the auxiliary climate control system or can transfer control to a rear passenger control panel.

All of the auxiliary climate control system components are serviceable from the inside of the vehicle except the lines.

Auxiliary System Air Distribution

A vertical air distribution duct supplies air to the integral headliner air distribution duct. Airflow is then directed to the passengers through adjustable registers. The heater floor duct supplies air to a fixed register which is integral to the side trim panel and directs airflow through the fixed register to the passenger compartment.

Thanks I have sent you my e-mail..

Good luck on the fix zecolleman. I have seen your pictures of your beautiful country. I imagine it is very cold this time of year. I hope you get it fixed.:thumbsup:

Thanks. 3.janary it was 50°F and no snow and then we started to get som bad wether and now it is like this http://s754.photobucket.com/albums/xx183/zecolleman/Snow/ And the x is just doing just fine except the heater could be better and I think it should be better but not sure I had subaru before and the heter there did blow much harder.

Beautiful snow photos. Glad they are yours and not mine. We got 6" on Monday and schools are still closed, the place was a ghost town until Wednesday.

I don't know HOW you would work on your vehicle in those conditions but did you find any obstruction in the air path in your heater/ac? Were all of the vacuum diaphragms working?

I haven´t done anyting about this yet my car is so ice I will try to get it inside and try to look for some reason for this heater thing.

Ok so I now have had change to look at the heater and it looks like it allways blow down to the floor. if you push the window defroster button then you can feel the blow down to the floor also if you push the dash vent, dose this meen that my flor vent door is broken?

You'll have to help me along here since i am unfamiliar with the electronic system you have.

You manually select defrost OR dash and it still blows only to the floor, correct?

Not necessarily the floor door but perhaps the floor door vacuum motor.

Did I send you Section 412-00 from the service manual? If so, look at pg5 showing what/when vacuum should be applied to each motor.

I am sending you mail.

Ok I will try to explane but I am not very good writing english. It seems to always blow litle down to the floor especially on driver side on every settings so when you push the defroster from floor/defroster there is no increas in blow to the window. but when you push the foor button the blow increases. And it is like that too at the vents back on the center consul where the rear cup holders are.
And thanks alot for taking the time to help.
