What is the easiest way to run a wire from under the hood through the firewall to the inside?

Thanks....

Through the factory grommet between the parking brake and the brake pedal. You may need to enlarge it a bit with a utility knife.

or you can follow where your hood relase cable goes through and just enlarge the grommet a little more to run the wire with the cable.

I've used the hood release cable grommet for all my wires going to the inside of the truck. It's thin and easy to punch wires through. It's a little hard to get to the wires on the firewall side though, since the grommet is under the brake booster. But if you have someone fish the wire from inside to outside, while you feel around below the booster, you'll catch the wire easily.
