Wiring 2 single din units together

How can I go about wiring 2 single din headunits together so that they will both get power? I have a sony 7" lcd screen and a kenwood x959 and will plug the screen into the x959 via aux input. I know this will control the screen but what about power? Do I just splice the original factory wiring and put all the power wires and ground wires and illum wires to both headunits? Whats the easiest way to do this?

yeah, just splice the power wires... there shouldnt be any real reson to blow a fuse, they arent that high draw devices to begin with......
