I have a 98 with the Mach system.

Adding a new sub and amp.

I have the power but need to get the signal

Can I use the leads from (to go to the new amp):

7 - RD/BK - Subwoofer High Audio (-)
8 - BN/OG - Subwoofer High Audio (+)

or do I have to go further back to the head unit to get a clean signal for the sub ???

well the question is do u still have the stock Head unit or not? my person preference is to raplace the stock HU with an aftermarket then run low level inputs from the HU to the amp...but if a new HU isnt in store or already installed (never done it myself) but i dont see the power transfer being any different since u will have to have wires ran to the back anyway unless u wanted to cut the wires at the HU and splice on thicker speaker wire to run to your amps High level inputs. and just on my own curiosity what amp/subs are u running?

I tapped for signal right after the OEM amp in my Budget Bass project..

Note that I did not have an OEM subwoofer.
