I cut my "eye teeth" on wiring on Fiat and eventually all the Italian cars back in the early 70's.
One thing they were all noted for was POOR workmanship, shorts, opens you name it!
Tools needed.
2 good test lights or 1 powered and 1 regular.
Some jumper wires with alligator clip ends.
Make up a jumper with a fuse holder and some self resetting fuses.
Get a selection like a 5A and a higher value like 20A or so.
Now for some fun! Is the circuit open, short or even powered? Now one can tell.
If all of a sudden several things stop working at once, chances are it's a fuse.
An owner's manual comes in handy here as it will tell one what accessories are on the
circuit and fuse that needs to be inspected.
With about $25ish in parts, the brain power here on this forum (chances are they have only
done it a million times) and a wiring diagram one may save a pile of money!
Remember you can do it!
