Anyone used painless wiring solutions for there v8 swap? I'm using a 98 Explorer's 302, AOD transmission, and transfer case. They will be going in my 94 Explorer XLT model. I have seen wiring harness kits around 500-600 dollars.

I just recently completed this exact same project (https://www.explorerforum.com/forum...er-5-0-swap-thread.358410/page-3#post-3542249) and honestly, the easiest way to do this is to modify a second gen engine bay harness from a 96 or 97 and make it work with the first gen dash harness. that way you get all the factory fuses, relays, connectors, ect and it works like OEM
Idk how I didn't find this before, I feel a should have searched first reply. Thanks.
