Hi all,
Since "fixing" my 4x4 (dash buttons not connected) it works like a charm, except I have a sunstantial wobble in the steering wheel when using 4x4. This wobble disappears only when turning of 4x4 AND unlocking the hubs by driving backwards. If I disengage 4x4 and do not let de hubs unlock, the wobble persists.
The wobble is not present on offroad surfaces, probably because the wheel is able to wander?
There isn't a hint of vibration when 4x4 is disengaged...
I am thinking the last owner disconnected the dash buttons on purpose, to hide a bent front driveshaft?
What do you guys think? can it be something else, like 1 failed auto hub or somethng? Maybe a worn u-joint?
Thanks,
Chris
