...If changing my '06 Ex tires from 235 70R 16 to 245 70R 16 would affect driving and handling?
I have an Honda Passport 2000 that needs a new engine, but has 4 new tires.
I would like to use those tires to change the old Michelin on my Ex with these Firestone.
Is there going to be a problem because I go from 235 to 245?
Thanks for any input.:exp:

It's less than a 2% change in diameter, 1.87% to be exact. Won't affect driving and handling negatively, but your speedometer will read 1.87% too slow. In other words, if you're driving 60 mph as measured by a GPS reading, your speedometer would show about 59 (assuming it's dead on accurate...many I've seen have been off from the factory by as much as 3 mph). Your odometer will also count miles at a slightly slower rate. Not really much to worry about. Shouldn't be a problem at all, as long as you replace all 4 tires and don't mix and match :)

Thank you, Ronin.
Excellent information, very self-explanatory.
