Wont shift,no speedometer,and ABS remains ON

My son truck speedometer does not want to work correctly, in AUTO it does not want to shift from 1st to 2nd and i can get it to shift from 2 to 3 rd if the speedometer happens to work , and the ABS has came on also this happen when started truck everything was fine .
Any one ? thanks

Check the Vehicle Speed Sensor.
