Hey y'all. I gotta '02 explorer from a guy who told me after running hot he kept on driving a good bit in order to get it home. So I thought I'd be fixing an overheating problem but what he didn't tell me is its not running at all. It will crank and start some but shuts off immediately. Its not throwing any codes and I've tried all kinda things and am getting no where. Any ideas or thoughts... or even better, the answer I'm lookin for would really be helpful and appreciated at this point.

Make sure that it's getting fuel. If the engine starts and quits, there may be a fuel delivery issue.

Start with pulling all plugs and compression check. Fill the radiator with water, it may come out plug hole and save you the trouble of a compression check. Its probably dead to be honest.
